Report an Issue

Use this page to report security concerns, incorrect data, broken links, or any other issue with the MC-Cheats database. Every report is reviewed. Security reports take priority.

What to report

Suspicious files: a client file that appears malicious, contains unexpected code, or does not match its documented hash. Incorrect data: wrong version numbers, outdated status labels, incorrect source links. Broken links: download links, source links, or references that no longer work. Security disclosures: vulnerabilities in the site itself, or in any file we reference.

How to submit a report

Send an email to reports@mc-cheats.com with the subject line formatted as: 

[REPORT] <type> — <short summary>

Examples:

  • [REPORT] Security — Hash mismatch on Wurst 7.55.1
  • [REPORT] Correction — Meteor supported versions outdated
  • [REPORT] Broken link — Aristois download returns 404

What to include

Include as much of the following as you can. Incomplete reports are still reviewed, but complete reports are resolved faster.

  • Page URL where the issue appears.
  • SHA-256 hash of the file involved (for security reports).
  • Steps to reproduce the issue.
  • Evidence: screenshots, terminal output, VirusTotal report links.
  • Your contact (optional — anonymous reports are accepted).

What happens after you report

  1. Acknowledgment. We confirm receipt and assign a tracking identifier.
  2. Verification. We reproduce the issue, cross-check the affected data, and consult primary sources.
  3. Action. Depending on the finding, we update the page, correct the metadata, remove a file link, or publish a note in the changelog.
  4. Follow-up. We reply with the outcome unless the report was anonymous.

Confidentiality

We do not publish reporter identities without explicit consent. Security reports submitted with a request for anonymity are handled accordingly. If a report leads to a significant correction, we may credit the reporter by name if they agree.

What we cannot do

  • We cannot remove client files we do not host. If a file is hosted on a third-party site, report it to that site's abuse channel.
  • We cannot act on reports based only on suspicion without evidence. Provide specifics.
  • We cannot respond to reports about server bans, gameplay disputes, or Minecraft account issues. Those are unrelated to this site.
