What is MC-Cheats?

MC-Cheats is a reference database tracking Minecraft hacked clients, cheats, and their compatibility across versions and servers. Unlike typical download sites, we focus on verifiable data: last-checked timestamps, source links, status labels (Active / Updated / Stale / Discontinued / Unknown), and compatibility matrices. Every client entry includes SHA-256 hashes, VirusTotal verification links, and file metadata when available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to download clients from MC-Cheats?

We do not host client files ourselves. We link to official sources (GitHub repositories, official websites) and provide verification data including SHA-256 hashes and VirusTotal links when available. Always verify hashes before running any file. See our Security Methodology for details.

How often is the database updated?

Status checks run weekly. Version compatibility is updated within 24-48 hours of major Minecraft releases. Changelog entries are added as client updates are detected.

What do the status labels mean?

Active — recent commits or releases. Updated — updated within the last 30 days. Stale — no updates in 6+ months. Discontinued — development stopped, archive only. Unknown — insufficient data to determine status.

Why is Impact Client not listed?

Impact Client is excluded from this database. Impact's own download page states it supports Minecraft 1.16.5 and older versions only — it does not support 1.21. Listing it would misrepresent compatibility.

Can I use these clients on any server?

Server rules vary. Many servers prohibit hacked clients. Hypixel, for example, has strict anti-cheat systems. We track server compatibility notes on individual client and cheat pages where verified information exists.
