Compatibility Matrix — Clients & Cheats by Version

Verified compatibility data for every tracked client across supported Minecraft versions. Updated weekly with status labels for each combination.

How compatibility is verified

Each compatibility entry reflects whether a client build has been confirmed to load and function on a specific Minecraft version. Verification is based on the client's official release notes, changelog entries, and repository activity. Client builds are version-specific: a build for 1.21.1 will not load on 1.21.5 without a separate build. This matrix tracks the current state of each client across the versions we monitor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Partial" compatibility mean?

Partial means the client loads but some modules may not function correctly, or the client has not been fully tested for that version. Check the client page for specific module-level notes.

Why does compatibility vary between clients?

Each client is developed independently. A developer may prioritize one Minecraft version over another. Client architecture also differs: some clients use mixins that need updating per version, others use injection methods that are more version-agnostic.

How often is the compatibility matrix updated?

The matrix is reviewed weekly and updated when client developers release new builds or announce version support. Major Minecraft releases trigger immediate review cycles.

Can I use a client on a version marked "Unknown"?

Unknown means we cannot verify compatibility from public data. The client may work, but we recommend checking the client's official repository or Discord for community reports before relying on it.
