Future Client

Paid runtime injection client for Minecraft. Distributed by the Future team. Runtime injection means the client is loaded into the running game process without modifying the game's jar files on disk, which reduces conflicts with vanilla launchers and vanilla profiles.

A low detection count on VirusTotal does not guarantee absolute safety. VirusTotal aggregates results from many engines, some of which produce false positives for legitimate injection tooling. Read our verification methodology to understand what these numbers mean.

Configuration

Future Client configuration is stored in .minecraft/future. Settings are managed from the in-game menu and persist across sessions. Because Future uses runtime injection, it does not require Fabric or Forge — the client hooks into the running game process instead of modifying jars on disk.

Server Compatibility

Server Status Notes
Hypixel Restricted Strict anti-cheat
2b2t Permitted No active anti-cheat
CubeCraft Restricted Active anti-cheat

Troubleshooting

Runtime injection fails on launch

Ensure the Minecraft process is running with the correct Java version. Some antivirus tools block runtime injection — check your AV logs and add an exception for the client directory.

Menu does not open in-game

Confirm the client injected successfully — check the launcher output for hook confirmation. If injected, rebind the menu key from the config.

Client stops working after a Minecraft update

Runtime injection is sensitive to Minecraft client updates. Wait for a new Future build that matches the current Minecraft release.

License issues

Future is a paid client. If the license is rejected, verify the account credentials on the official dashboard.
