CubeCraft — Server Reference
CubeCraft is a large Minecraft mini-game network. It runs Sentinel, a custom anti-cheat system, and enforces a no-clients policy under its published rules. This page documents the server's context, version support, and known client behavior.
Quick summary
CubeCraft prohibits client usage under its rules. Sentinel combines server-side validation with behavioral heuristics. Detection on combat and movement anomalies is aggressive. Visual modules carry lower risk but are still prohibited. This page is provided as technical context, not as permission.

Anti-cheat overview
Sentinel is CubeCraft's custom anti-cheat. It combines server-side validation (movement, reach, attack frequency) with behavioral profiling. CubeCraft has maintained Sentinel for years and updates it regularly. Detection thresholds are not publicly documented.
CubeCraft also runs periodic reviews of reported players. Reports from other players contribute to ban decisions even when automated detection does not trigger.
Common detection patterns
- Combat: Reach values above vanilla limits, KillAura with constant attack intervals, and Velocity that nullifies knockback are commonly detected.
- Movement: Fly and BHop are detected quickly. Speed with high multipliers and NoSlowdown are also flagged.
- Visual: X-Ray is client-side and generally not detected, but ore obfuscation may reduce effectiveness on some game modes.
- World: Nuker, Scaffold, and similar modules produce non-human block interaction patterns.
Version support
CubeCraft supports both legacy 1.8.9 and modern Minecraft versions through server-side translation. Player versions are unified server-side, so a client built for 1.8.9 and a client built for 1.21.1 both connect to the same lobbies.
Alternative servers
If you want to use clients without violating server rules, use servers whose rules permit them. Examples include:
- 2b2t — anarchy server with no anti-cheat.
- Other anarchy servers — check each server's rules.
- Private servers you control — no rules against client usage.
