ChestStealer

ChestStealer automatically opens nearby containers — chests, barrels, shulker boxes, ender chests, hoppers — and moves their items into the player's inventory. It is used to loot quickly and to automate storage consolidation.

What it does

ChestStealer scans for containers in range, opens each one, and moves items according to a filter. Configurable options:

• Item filter — whitelist or blacklist of items to take.
• Take delay — time between individual item moves.
• Auto-close — close the container after looting.
• Range — how far from the player to search.

• Hypixel — Restricted. Container access rate is validated.
• 2b2t — Permitted. No anti-cheat active; ChestStealer is common.
• CubeCraft — Restricted. Sentinel validates interaction rates.

Detection behavior

Anti-cheat detection focuses on:

• Container access rate. Opening containers in rapid sequence is unusual.
• Item-move packets. Moving dozens of items per second is beyond human interaction.
• Container open distance. Remote container access is validated.

ChestStealer with a moderate delay (100–200 ms per item) and a small range is less obvious. Fast or long-range variants are flagged quickly.

Known limitations

• Some containers lock after failed access attempts.
• Server-side anti-griefing plugins can block container interaction entirely.
• ChestStealer can move items into the wrong slots if the inventory is full.
