Nuker

Nuker breaks every block within a configurable radius around the player, ignoring normal mining delays. It is one of the most destructive and most detectable modules because it generates block-break packets at a rate that is physically impossible in vanilla.

What it does

Nuker scans the surrounding area for blocks matching a filter and destroys them in rapid sequence. Configurable options:

  • Radius — distance from the player in blocks.
  • Delay — time between block breaks in ticks.
  • Block filter — ore-only, all blocks, or custom whitelist.
  • Mode — instant, creative, or packet-based.
  • Rotation — whether the client rotates toward each block before breaking.

Client Status Notes
Wurst Yes Radius, delay, and filter options
Meteor Yes Advanced filtering and mode selection
LiquidBounce Yes Multiple breaking modes
Boze Yes Anarchy-focused implementation

Server compatibility

  • HypixelRestricted. Server validates block-break timing and rotation; instant bans likely.
  • 2b2tPermitted. No anti-cheat active; Nuker is widely used.
  • CubeCraftRestricted. Sentinel validates block-break sequences.

Detection behavior

Anti-cheat systems check for Nuker through:

  • Block-break rate. Vanilla has a fixed minimum time per block based on tool and material.
  • Rotation packets. Vanilla requires the player to face a block before breaking it.
  • Reach. Blocks beyond the vanilla reach distance cannot normally be broken.
  • Simultaneous breaks. Multiple blocks broken in the same tick are impossible in vanilla.

Nuker with a large radius and instant breaking is caught immediately on protected servers. Ore-only filters with a small radius and randomized delay are less obvious but still detectable by rotation and rate checks.

Known limitations

  • Server-side block protection (claims, world guard) prevents breaking entirely.
  • Breaking blocks in protected regions can result in instant flagging.
  • Nuker generates large amounts of network traffic, which some servers monitor.
