NoSlowdown

NoSlowdown removes the movement slowdown applied when using items that normally reduce speed — eating food, drawing a bow, blocking with a shield, drinking a potion, or using a spyglass. It restores full movement speed during these actions.

What it does

NoSlowdown overrides the client-side speed modifier applied during item-use states. Configurable options:

  • Source filter — apply to eating, blocking, bow, potion, or all.
  • Mode — full removal or partial (e.g., 80% of vanilla slowdown).

Server compatibility

  • HypixelRestricted. Speed during item use is validated.
  • 2b2tPermitted. No anti-cheat active.
  • CubeCraftRestricted. Sentinel validates movement during item-use states.

Detection behavior

NoSlowdown is a subtle module because the movement it produces is close to normal walking speed. Detection focuses on:

  • Speed while eating. Server checks movement while the player is in an eating animation.
  • Speed while blocking. Movement speed above the vanilla block speed is a signal.
  • Consistency. Vanilla item-use slows movement every time; NoSlowdown produces constant speed regardless.

Partial NoSlowdown (retaining 20–30% of the slowdown) is much less detectable than full removal.

Known limitations

  • Some servers disable eating while moving entirely.
  • Blocking slowdown depends on the shield mechanic, which varies across game modes.
  • NoSlowdown combined with Speed creates movement that exceeds the vanilla cap by a wide margin.
